Psalm 87
Daily Devotional from Psalm 87–
Verse 1-2
“His foundation is in the holy mountains. The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.” (KJV)
God's unique love for Jerusalem is revealed in this chapter. Moriah and Zion are the holy mountains He chose. It is a sacred city set apart by God Himself as the home for His divine presence.
God loves the gates of Zion most of all. Zion is the spiritual heart of the nation. His glory rested here, and it’s where all His people gathered to worship Him together.
Today our gift of the Holy Spirit allows Jesus Christ to dwell with each believer personally. We can rejoice as He brings us His divine nature full of light and truth!
