Psalm 67
Daily Devotional from Psalm 67—
Verse 5
“Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!”
This entire Psalm is a call to worship for all the nations of the world. Can you imagine it? Every nation, language, and culture gathered before the Lord on Mount Zion.
We open each Sunday at Legacy Church with a Call to Worship. Someone stands before us and does their best to rouse our hearts and voices in praise. Well, one day, David himself will stand and read out Psalm 67, and the loudest roar of praise the world has ever heard will rise from the ends of the earth.
I can’t wait. Evil will finally be vanquished. Sickness will be no more. Fear will be gone forever. The shalom of God will reign supreme. And the praise of Jesus, our Savior, will rock planet Earth.
Before you put your Bible away, read the Psalm again with me, and let these words play upon your imagination.
