Psalm 64
Daily Devotional from Psalm 64–
Verse 1a & 10
“Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint…. Let the righteous one rejoice in the Lord and take refuge in him! Let all the upright in heart exult!”
Sometimes we just need to express all of our frustrations and complaints to God. We need to get out everything we are thinking and feeling. This is one of the ways we take refuge in the LORD. He is our safe place, our strong tower, our defense against the enemy. We lift up our voice and cry out to God—knowing that he is our refuge.
Ephesians 6:10 & 12 says:
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.… For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Rejoice today in the strength of the LORD’s protection. He is mighty to save and faithful in his love.
