Isaiah 49-50
Daily Devotional from Isaiah 50--
Verse 4a
The Lord God has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with a word him who is weary.
We have all been discouraged at one time or another in our lives. “A tongue of those who are taught” (a well-trained tongue) knows just what to say to help.
God has provided His Word to help - to give hope, encouragement, direction, food for the soul.
But sometimes He uses us to be His well-trained tongue. We can be His hand outstretched to give His word of encouragement to cheer the discouraged. Sometimes that is all it takes!!
