Daily Devotional from Jude--

Verses 22-23

Have mercy on those who doubt;  save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.

Hate the sin love the sinner. It’s important that we are gentle with one another. We have brothers and sisters that often doubt, some maybe more than others. We aren’t to be irritated and just tell people to suck it up. Instead we ought to be understanding and encouraging during times of trial.

And for those outside the grace of God, we ought to pray for and treat them well so that we may be able to lead them away from the judgment that will come. You have good news that people need to hear, there is a judgment but there is a simple way out, and not just a way out but a better way, a more fulfilling way through Jesus!

So again, hate the sin and love the sinner. Love people well. That is what we want to do here at Generations Church: be merciful, hate sin, and love people well!
