Daily Devotional from 2 Corinthians 4—

Verses 16-17
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison.

Every day lived is another day closer to Jesus, we get older and weaker but our Spirit continues to be strengthened as we are daily being sanctified. We are being made more like Jesus until one day we will each have crowns in heaven and be with God. The hope of heaven alone is enough to make life so much easier as we know our problems and trials are only temporary because one day, we will see Jesus!

All your hardships are for this; so that you can hold the weight of glory because it’s heavy and we have to be made perfect for it. Praise Jesus that He is making us perfect, that He has prepared for us the weight of glory and the way to receive it! Know this: as you age, you are no less than your younger days but the living God is still in you!!!
