Jeremiah 51-52
Daily Devotional from Jeremiah 51--
Verse 13
O you who dwell by many waters, rich in treasures, your end has come; the thread of your life is cut.
When you come to the end of your life, what will earthly treasure do for you? What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul? We brought nothing into this world; it is certain we can take nothing out. Your boats, your RV’s, and beach-front properties will do nothing for you on that day. There’s nothing wrong with these earthly treasures, per se, but the only thing you take with you in the end are the treasures you lay up in heaven.
Think about what those things are today and invest your life there.
