Revelation 7

Revelation 7:9-10
Behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne, and before the lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
 
Take a moment to imagine this great scene. All races, tribes, and nations gathered before the throne. What a breathtaking scene. This is God’s vision for our future.
 
At the current moment, the Joshua Project estimates that there are 16,543 people groups in the world. And God loves each one of these people groups. But, out of these, 6,701 are currently considered unreached. That’s 42% of the world’s people groups who have never heard of or accepted salvation that comes through Jesus.  
 
And most of these unreached groups lie within, what we call, the 10/40 Window. This is a “window” that overlooks North Africa, the Middle East and Asia approximately between 10 degrees north and 40 degrees north latitude. And the tragedy is that only 3% of missionaries today are working in this area.
 
Pray today for these precious people groups. Pray that God would raise up workers and resources and pour out His Holy Spirit to see our 10/40 brothers and sisters one day clothed in white robes and crying out, “Salvation belongs to the Lamb!”
