Psalm 72
Daily Devotional from Psalm 72–
Verse 18
“Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things.”
In Psalm 72, David prays for Solomon. In his prayer, we also see King Jesus. How marvelous it is to belong to the Lord! As children adopted into his kingdom, we have seen the “wondrous things” he does. May we live in thankfulness for all he has done for us. May we receive with gladness his loving kindness each day. May we watch in expectancy for all he will do in the future, not just for us, but for all mankind!
Oh Lord, spark our awareness of how truly wondrous you are! Help us to be mindful of the ways you demonstrate your faithfulness moment by moment. May we respond with constant thankfulness, praise, and adoration!
