Verse 7
Jephthah judged Israel six years. Then Jephthah the Gileadite died and was buried in his city in Gilead.
Jephthah had humble beginnings, but was still used mightily by God. Yesterday, we read about his humble beginnings. And today, we read about how the Lord continued to bless him as a warrior.
Maybe you’ve come from humble beginnings yourself. You doubt that God could use you because of your past. But God is in the business of redeeming our stories. Today, if you’re doubting that God could use you, remember how he used Jephthah despite where he came from.
