Verse 7
These stones shall be to the people of Israel a memorial forever.
If we’re not careful, we can tend to forget the miracles God works in our lives. Therefore, we need to devise methods for remembering. And, not only that, but passing on the stories to our children, and our children’s children to the third and fourth generation. But this will require some ingenuity.
Create a piece of art. Plant a tree. Start a fund. Write a book. Do something that will enshrine the miracles the Lord has worked in your life. Your children need to hear about what happened, and be inspired that they belong to a legacy of faith.
Don’t let the memories die with you. Create monuments that will preserve God's work on earth long after you’re gone.
