Joshua 1
Daily Devotional from Joshua 1–
Verse 9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
What an amazing promise. The Lord is with us wherever we go, just like He was with Joshua and the Israelites. Did that make life easier? No, but it made them have more strength, more courage, less fear, and no dismay as they did what God had called them to do. He always provides what we need when we need it. He’s never too early, and He’s never too late. We just need to follow His commands: Be Strong, Be Courageous, Don’t fear, and Don’t be dismayed.
The best part of following God’s commands...He gives us exactly what we need to follow them. So today, like Joshua, let’s determine to trust and follow.
