Daily Devotional from Deuteronomy 33–
Verse 29
...who is like you, a people saved by the LORD…
I just love Moses’ reminder to the Israelites to remember their place before the Lord. Who is like the Israelites, a people saved by the Lord? Well… we are. Through Jesus’ sacrifice, we all have the opportunity to step into salvation and into the family of God. The saved family. A saved people.
If we are a people saved by the Lord, how does that change the way we live? How does that influence the way we interact with others? How does it impact our priorities in life? This challenges me to live in a way that shows others the goodness of God and the salvation available through him. May we never forget the more-than-blessing it is to be saved by the Lord. And may we never fail to live like those who have been saved! Jesus, our hearts are yours, we live to serve you!
