Revelation 1
Daily Devotional from Revelation 1--
Verses 17-18
When I saw him [Jesus], I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.”
Do you know what’s different between our God and every other “god” of every other religion? Ours is the only one who’s still alive!!! ONLY JESUS ever came back from the dead, and ONLY JESUS now holds the keys to Death and Hell.
People today like to say that all roads lead to God but it’s not true. Jesus said “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, nobody comes to the Father except through Me.” He was in the beginning with God, and he will be at the end of the age, and alive forevermore. And we get to be with him!! Keep loving and submitting to him one day at a time, and there will come a day when you get to stand before him and he will say “Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into my rest.”
