Colossians 2
Daily Devotional from Colossians 2—
Verses 6-7
Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
We who have received Jesus Christ have this unfathomable privilege of walking in Him, residing and moving within His presence. The idea of being rooted in Him brings to mind depth, stability and steadfastness. We are nourished and nurtured to maturity in Him. Our faith is strengthened in Him and our foundation is secure in Him. For this we respond in “abounding thanksgiving” by expressing daily and eternal gratitude!
“‘In him we live and move and have our being” Acts 17:28a
"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice." Philippians 4:4
