2 Corinthians 7
Daily Devotional from 2 Corinthians 7--
Verse 6
But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus...
What a great promise! There will be a number of times in every person’s life when we will be downcast. There will be potholes in the road of life that affect our spirits negatively. But Paul tells us that God comes to the rescue and comforts us when we are down and depressed.
He may send a friend to help us up, or may send a circumstance that changes our perspective, or He may direct us to a Scripture that renews our hope, or He may send the Holy Spirit (the Comforter) to raise our spirits with His Presence. Whatever the method, He is faithful to help.
So in your dark times, remember and hold on to this promise. Look up for your help. He is coming!
