Nahum-Habakkuk
Daily Devotional from Nahum 1--
Verse 7
The Lord is good, a stronghold in a day of distress; he cares for those who take refuge in him.
Sometimes we try to do things in order to get what we want or need. We try to please God in order to be in his good graces or to get our prayers answered.
However, All God wants is for us to trust him. To take refuge in him.
Sometimes we pray for the storms of life to go away but God answers by providing a stronghold, a refuge, a place to whether the storm.
The Lord is Good. Take refuge in him. The storm right now is raging, but God is a stronghold that can withstand any weather. And he cares for you.
