…if it had not been the Lord who was on our side when people rose up against us…
This psalm takes a different perspective when thanking God for His many blessings. I often focus on thanking Him for what He’s done, what He’s provided, and who He is. I might have been killed while driving drunk…
I might have married someone I shouldn’t have…
Or gotten pregnant at an undesirable time in life…
I might have lost that job…
The possibilities are endless! We’ll never know all the pain, heartache, and trauma that we have been spared BECAUSE we love and obey Jesus! Only He knows the myriad of results each of our actions COULD result in. Praise God today for all that has NOT happened to you in life!
