Psalm 9

Daily Devotional from Psalm 9–

Verse 10 
And those who know Your Name put their trust in You. For you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.

There was a little boy who had done something he wasn’t supposed to do. When his mom asked him what they should do about his behavior, the little boy said, “Just throw me away.”

There have been days when I have done so many things wrong, I’ve felt like God should just throw me away too. Then I am reminded to: count God’s wonderful deeds; sing
praises to His name; know that my enemies perish before His presence, and let God give righteous judgment (obviously He knows more about me than I do). Even in my worst days, He has not, nor will he ever, forsake me or throw me away.

If you ever have a bad day, trust the Lord to pick you up and bring you through. Let your seeking heart run to Him for help. He always has, and He always will respond to a seeking heart. And in case you are wondering, that little boy is a 15-year-old who has become a diligent seeker of God and a powerful young man of prayer. What will the Lord do for you if you put your trust in Him, no matter what kind of day you are having?
