Matthew 11
Daily devotional from Matthew 11--
Verse 27
All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
How do we get to know God?
The more Jesus discloses Himself, the more we will know about the Father. He becomes more real in our lives. Our faith grows. Our head knowledge transforms into heart knowledge. At times we even sense his presence with us.
Is that all we can know?
In John 14:21, Jesus says as we love him and show it by keeping his commandments (loving God and neighbor), He will reveal himself to us. In John 8:19, Jesus says if you knew me you would know the Father as well.
The more Jesus discloses Himself, the more we will know about the Father. He becomes more real in our lives. Our faith grows. Our head knowledge transforms into heart knowledge. At times we even sense his presence with us.
Get to know God more today! Seek his presence in the good times and bad! It’s where miracles happen.
