Ezekiel 47-48

Daily Devotional from Ezekiel 47--

Verse 12

And on the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither, nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing.

It is believed that the water contained by the banks on either side of the river represents the Holy Spirit and the gospel message.

Just look at the results of being in contact with that water from the river — all kinds of trees that produce fruit for food and leaves for healing!

As Christian “trees” when we soak up the Living Water of the Holy Spirit as our roots stay connected, the result will be spiritual food and healing for ourselves and for those with whom we share the good news and its message.

So much to be thankful for!
