Jeremiah 47-48
Daily Devotional from Jeremiah 48—
Verse 42
Moab shall be destroyed and be no longer a people, because he magnified himself against the Lord.
God is a gracious God, but going against Him is a dangerous thing. In His great mercy, God waits for the day of judgement because He desires more people to believe, to be saved! Jesus paved the way for us to be on good terms with God. Jesus is God, trust Him. God desires not only that we aren’t His enemies but that we would partner with Him, that we would be called children and friends of God.
Joshua said it well in Joshua 24:14-15,
“Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord…But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Make the right choice today.
