Verse 29

Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

It’s something about God’s Word when you hear it, it just burns in you. I remember when I got baptized at 19 it took me 4 more years to fully give my life to Christ but during that time the sermons I heard and the scripture I’ve read gnawed at me, the knowledge I had of Jesus would surface. I was learning but not coming to a knowledge of the truth, but God’s word kept hammering at my stone heart, and whenever I harden my heart even today, He is faithful to break down my defenses yet again. God wants to keep drawing you closer. Let His word break through the hard parts of your heart. Let God speak to you and let God speak through you today. Be enriched by His Holy Spirit.
