Isaiah 16-18

Daily Devotional from Isaiah 16--

Verse 5
Then a throne will be established in steadfast love, an on it will sit in faithfulness in the tent of David one who judges and seeks justice and is swift to do righteousness.
 
There are 195 countries in the world today. 54 of the countries are in Africa, 48 in Asia, 44 in Europe, 33 in Latin America and the Caribbean, 14 in Oceania, and 2 in Northern America. And, one day, they will all be governed by one throne and one man. That’s world domination! But it won’t be crooked or corrupt. No, Isaiah describes this government as loving, faithful, just, and right. Sounds like heaven on earth. And, indeed, that’s exactly what it will be.
 
So, to hasten the day, would you pray along with me?
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
