Deuteronomy 29
Daily Devotional from Deuteronomy 29--
Verse 29
The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.
The fact is, there are many things we don’t know and won’t know this side of heaven, and that’s ok. We serve a God who knows everything, and He has given us all we need to know. As believers, we have God’s Spirit and His Word. The truth has been revealed to us so that we would trust Jesus and live an anointed life in Him, spreading the good news. Everyone deserves to know what’s been revealed to us. People naturally have questions when they can’t make sense of this life, and we Christians have the answer.
Pass on the revealed Word to your children, let them be brought up steeped in God’s Word. This Word was given to us, it belongs to us! Let us not take advantage of this gift. We must stay in the Bible if we want to obey what’s in it.
Today, let what is unknown be in God’s hands, and take advantage of what God has revealed to us.
