Leviticus 24
Daily Devotional from Leviticus 24--
Verse 12
And they put him in custody, till the will of the Lord should be clear to them.
When the man blasphemed the Lord, the Israelites weren’t sure of how to punish him. And so, they waited upon the Lord for wisdom.
God gives wisdom to those who ask for it. When we face difficult decisions, do we rely on our own wisdom, or do we slow down and wait for God’s? It’s easy to want to make decisions quickly and trust ourselves. But when we rely on God, we are sure to make the right call.
Today, seek the Lord first, above all else.
