Daily Devotional from Exodus 26--
Verse 30
Then you shall erect the tabernacle according to the plan for it that you were shown on the mountain.
When Moses took a break away from the people and went up to the mountain to spend one-on-one time with God, God gave him a picture – a vision – of the tabernacle project that he would oversee. Moses wasn’t given any details at the time though, just a vision.
Sometimes God does the same with us. When we get away from the busyness and clamor of life, go to a mountain or other retreat to spend one-on-one time with Jesus, sometime he gives us a vision of what he wants us to do or be. But we don’t always get the details at the same time! We take the vision, submit to his will, and just start taking faith steps. As we take steps toward carrying out the vision, He brings the PROVISION – he starts giving details and showing plans and making it happen.
Has God given you a vision? What faith step can you take this week to move toward making that vision a reality?
