Daily Devotional from Amos 4--

Verse 13

For behold, he who forms the mountains and creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought, who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth— the Lord, the God of hosts, is his name!

Amidst all the warnings to Israel, from God through His prophets, about their continued unfaithfulness and judgment to come, Amos takes time to praise God.

In every circumstance we face, whether it be uplifting or demoralizing, let us take time to remember who is in charge, turn to Him, and give Him the worship He deserves — just because of who He is!
