What does the scripture say? “Cast out the slave woman and her son, for the son of the slave woman shall not inherit with the son of the free woman.”
When we try to mix grace and works, we, like Abraham, bring a second wife into the marriage. We would be better off simply living with the one God provided for us: Grace. She treats us well. She shows us how to have a relationship with God and others. But sometimes we forget her benefits and go seeking after the mistress called works.
However, you can only be successfully married to one. There is only one wife and the other a concubine. Do yourself a favor and keep the peace in the home. Lady Grace will take good care of you.
