Galatians 1
Galatians 1:10
Am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.
These are questions we all need to ask from time to time. Our default setting seems to be set on what others think of us. However, we need to consciously shift our focus back to God. Always back to God. This is a daily choice. What does he think? What does he see? How does he feel about this decision? And does anybody’s opinion stack up to his? When we remember this perspective we can get back to being his servant, and quit trying to please people.
