Daily Devotional from Acts 3--
Verses 9-10
All the people saw [the lame beggar] walking and praising God, and they recognized that he was the one who used to sit and beg at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. So they were filled with awe and astonishment at what had happened to him.
Our testimony of what God has done in our lives is the best witness of Jesus in our lives. Everyone knew who this man was; they were used to seeing him at the gate. And then suddenly he was different. He was jumping, PRAISING God! It was his praise that drew people in and provided an opportunity for the Gospel to be shared.
Your life is a testament to the saving power of Jesus! What a wonderful thing! You don’t need special words, or eloquent speech. You just need your story of what Jesus has done in your life. Others will recognize the hope, joy, peace, etc. And when they ask about where it came from—all you have to do is tell them about how Jesus changed you.
