Luke 11
Daily Devotional from Luke 11--
Verse 33
No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a cellar or under a basket, but on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light.
As believers in Jesus, we are the light of the world (Matt. 5:14). And as things get darker the light naturally grows with intensity. And, as we all know, the darkness of uncertainty has cast its shadow upon the world. So, now, more than ever, let your light shine. It might seem a little different, and, perhaps, even out of place, but that’s okay, that’s what light does. People will adjust and come to love what you have to offer. So, let your light so shine before others that they may see your good works and glorify your father who is in heaven.
