Daily Devotional from John 7--
Verse 6
My time has not yet come.
I love the confidence. Here Jesus’s brothers were trying to egg him on. But Jesus stayed in the moment. He didn’t allow ambition to drive him forward or fear to hold him back. He trusted in the perfect timing of the Father. And the pathway into this same kind of confidence is Jesus. Oh, to abide in Jesus, the supremely confident One. Where there is no hustle and grind, where there is no dither nor delay. Just perfect confidence in the plan and timing of God.
