Verse 10

[Abraham] was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God.

Abraham is known as the father of our faith. He’s a pretty significant guy. However, if you think about it, what did the man do? He basically walked around looking for a city. Doesn’t seem all that striking. But we honor him today, not for his triumphs, but for his trust. He trusted God even when results failed to materialize. And that’s the making of a great man or woman of God—Trust!

We are all exiles, looking for lands we may never see in our lifetime. But others who follow will. Will you trust God with the journey? FAITH = Fantastic Adventures In Trusting Him. Trust even when you can’t see any discernible payout.
