John 10

Daily Devotional from John 10--

Verses 2-4

But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

I love that we have God’s word written for us and kept through history. But it is also so endearing to know that God is still speaking to us. God is always wanting to speak with us. Today let’s take time to seek and to just listen. It says here Jesus’ sheep know His voice. The more time we spend with Jesus the easier it is to recognize when it’s His voice.

God knows you by name and He loves you; slow down, take some time to talk with Him, and listen to Him. Sometimes we let the busyness and hurry of life drown out God’s voice. Let’s allow Him to lead us with His peace and direction as we remain prayerful and intentional.
