Psalm 24
Daily Devotional from Psalm 24–
Verse 8
“Who is the King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.”
It is important to remind ourselves who is on our side when we are in the midst of a battle. God invites us to bring every circumstance before Him, and He delights in fighting on our behalf. Let’s not forget that God is already victorious. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, He has defeated sin and conquered the grave. We don’t fight for victory; we fight from victory.
Because of this, we can walk with boldness knowing that Jesus is strong and mighty in battle. He is our ever-present help in times of trouble, faithful to strengthen us and carry us through every trial. What a blessing it is to serve a God who goes before us, fights on our behalf, and reigns victorious!
